It has come to my notice that most GP practices do not have hoists. For wheelchair user who cannot transfer without a hoist this denies them smear tests and many other procedures. Therefore I am conducting a piece of research to see how many surgeries have hoists. If this is something you would be interested in please email your GP practice and ask them this.
